Chambroad Petrochemicals TBIR2249 Rubber
Categories: Polymer; Thermoset; Rubber or Thermoset Elastomer (TSE)

Material Notes: TBIR: Trans-1,4-poly(butadiene-co-isoprene) rubber (TBIR), a new functional rubber material with excellent properties, is a solution to the compatibility problem of such common rubber as natural rubber, cis-1,4-polybutadiene rubber, and styrene-butadiene rubber. With improvement in the dispersion of fillers in the rubber mix, various types of rubber can deliver great performance. The rubber compound containing TBIR has a high green strength and great dimensional stability; the vulcanized rubber containing TBIR has high fatigue resistance and wear resistance, and low rolling resistance and heat generation.
