Material Notes: Greene Tweed offers precision-molded thermoplastic components made form out high-performance Orthtek® composite materials for a variety of demanding medical device applications. Orthtek RP is ideally suited to replace metal due to strength, dimensional stability, low weight and corrosion resistance. Orthtek RP is recommended for noncomplex parts such as nail guides where radiolucentcy and autoclaving are required.

Applications:

  • Medical Trauma – Targeting instruments such as tibial or humeral nail guides
  • Medical Orthopedic – Surgical instruments and retractors
