Material Notes: The glass fibres result in increased compressive strength, which is particularly useful at high temperatures. Chemical resistance is only negligibly restricted. The dielectric and anti-adhesion properties are reduced somewhat in comparison with virgin PTFE. This type is unsuitable for non-lubricated sliding functions with a soft steel mating partner due to the abrasive glass fibres. This material is more suited to static applications. Type PTFE GF25 FDA is suitable for contact with foodstuffs.
