Borealis BorSafe™ HE3492-LS-H HDPE
Categories: Polymer; Thermoplastic; Polyethylene (PE); High Density (HDPE)

Material Notes: BorSafe HE3492-LS-H is a bimodal polyethylene compound produced by the advanced Borstar technology. It is a ready made compound, including a carefully selected combination of pigments and stabilizers to ensure excellent long-term thermal stability and UV-resistance for limited outdoors storage of the final product. BorSafe HE3492-LS-H is classified as an MRS 10.0 material (PE100) and is PE100-RC classified following the draft EN/ISO PE pressure pipe standards as currently revised. Furthermore, it has a pigment system that gives a bright colored stripe, even when extruded as a thin layer on a black pipe.

Applications:

  • Co-extrusion of layers for pressure pipes
  • Natural gas
  • Gas distribution
  • Pressure pipes
Specifications:
  • EN 1555
  • ISO 4437
