ChevronTexaco Gear Compounds EP, ISO 2200
Categories: Fluid; Lubricant

Material Notes: Features

Chevron Gear Compounds EP are multipurpose gear lubricants.

They provide good thermal stability, extreme pressure protection, antiwear and demulsibility, oxidation, rust, corrosion control and foam inhibition.

Chevron Gear Compounds EP used in misting systems provide excellent oxidation stability to prevent oil mist deposits. They will form a high volume of mist droplets for transmission to the point of application. Chevron Gear Compounds EP have minimal stray mist (fog).

Applications

Chevron Gear Compounds EP are recommended for all industrial enclosed gearing and wherever an AGMA extreme pressure lubricant is specified.

Chevron Gear Compounds EP, in the proper viscosity grade, are recommended for all mist oil application systems.

The same products can also be used in general industrial plant lubrication where the performance properties of this type of lubricant are required.
