Material Notes: Greene Tweed offers precision-molded thermoplastic components made from our high-performance Orthtek® composite materials for a variety of demanding medical and biotechnology applications. Orthtek WF components work well as metal replacements due to Orthtek’s high strength, low weight, corrosion resistance, and dimensional stability. Orthtek WF is recommended for applications such as nail guides and retractors where radiolucentcy and autoclaving are required.

Applications:

  • Medical Trauma – External fixation and targeting devices
  • Medical Orthopedic – Reconstructive components, retractors, spine instrumentation and surgical instrumentation
