Material Notes: V-LITE vermiculite insulating bricks have the following characteristics:
  • Max. service temperature 1100°C (2012°F)
  • Hot-face applications and back-up insulation
  • Good insulation value
  • High mechanical strength
  • High temperature resistance, withstand direct flame impingement
  • Can be used in furnaces with reducing atmospheres due to their resistance to carbon monoxide and hydrocarbon attacks
  • Equally suitable for hot-face applications and back-up insulation of refractory constructions
  • Used for lining in all types of industrial kilns and furnaces, incinerators and combustion plants
