| Product Description: Akrochem® Antioxidant S is an octylated diphenylamine antidegradant. It imparts excellent heat resistance to most natural and synthetic polymers, especially in polychloroprene where it does not contribute to scorch as other anti-degradants often do (in many instances it actually improves scorch resistance). When used in combination with Akrochem Antioxidant 58 or 60, a synergism produces outstanding heat resistance. Non-blooming at normal loadings of 1 to 4 phr. Like other amine antioxidants, Antioxidant S will discolor but very slightly.
