Master Bond EP21LSCL-2 Two component epoxy for bonding, coating, sealing and potting
Categories: Polymer; Thermoset; Epoxy; Epoxy Adhesive

Material Notes: Key Features:
  • Low viscosity
  • Long working life
  • Good physical strength properties
  • Excellent electrical insulation properties
Master Bond EP21LSCL-2 is a two component, low viscosity epoxy resin system featuring superb optical clarity. This system has a forgiving mix ratio of 100 to 20 by weight. The recommended cure schedule is overnight at room temperature followed by 3-5 hours at 140-175°F. It has exceptionally low exotherm and a long working life of 6 to 8 hours for a 100 gram mass. This compound is 100% reactive and does not contain any solvents or diluents.EP21LSCL-2 bonds well to a wide variety of substrates including metals, glass, composites, ceramics as well as many rubber and plastic materials. It is a superb electrical insulator. When this property is combined with its low exotherm, it enables EP21LSCL-2 to be highly effective in larger potting and encapsulation applications. The system’s most outstanding feature is its non yellowing characteristic. EP21LSCL-2 is specially formulated to have minimal non-yellowing tendencies. It is a very good adhesive with low shrinkage upon curing and exceptional dimensional stability. It is resistant to water, oils, fuels and outdoor elements. The service temperature range is from -60°F to +250°F. EP21LSCL-2 is an attractive option when

Product Advantages:

  • Low viscosity; easy to apply or pour
  • Contains no solvents or diluents
  • Low shrinkage upon curing
  • Long open time
  • Highly desirable non-yellowing profile
  • Meets NASA low outgassing specifications
