Precision Polymer Engineering Q65B Polyurethane Rubber
Categories: Polymer; Thermoset; Polyurethane, TS; Thermoset Polyurethane, Elastomer, Unreinforced; Rubber or Thermoset Elastomer (TSE)

Material Notes: Sulphur cured, Polyurethane Rubber, 55-65 °IRHD. Polyester-based urethane. To meet ASTM line call-out M5BG621, B14, EO14, EO34. ASTM & ISO designation = AU.

Applications: Excellent abrasion resistance and tensile strength, with fluid compatibility approaching that of NBR. Polyurethane seals provide outstanding performance in hydraulic systems, which are prone to abrasive contamination and high shock loads. Good resistance to weathering and ozone but poor against water and high temperature.
