AXF-5QC graphite is impregnated with copper to reduce resistivity and friction, and increase lifetime of the products this material is machined into. Impregnating AXF-5Q graphite with copper greatly increases the material's compressive strength and reduces its electrical resistivity and friction coefficient at operating temperatures below 300°C. Features: Average particle size of less than 5 microns provides high strength and resistance to damage. Copper impregnation increases product lifetime reduces replacement needs. Fine surface finish creates parts with precision details. Low friction coefficient is ideal for sliding friction or high-load applications at relatively low temperatures. We can enhance this material with our post-processing options. Our graphite grades are available as semi-finished rods, blocks, plates, and fully machined parts. Applications: Air bearings. Aerospace. Satellite optics. Hot press dies. Furnace components. Crucible materials.Information provided by Entegris POCO Materials. |
