Material Notes:	Product Description: Akrochem Calcium Stearate is a calcium carboxylate of stearic acid that may be derived from both animal-based fats and vegetable oils. This product meets FDA Standards set forth in CFR 21, section 178.2010. Applications: Calcium Stearate is an effective internal lubricant, mold release agent, and secondary HCl acid scavenger in many PVC applications; and can also be used in the processing of some polyolefins.
