DIAB Divinycell® F 50 Sandwich Core Material
Categories: Other Engineering Material; Composite Core Material; Polymer

Material Notes: Divinycell F is a recyclable, prepreg compatible sandwich core offering excellent FST (fire, smoke and toxicity) properties, good mechanicals and processing characteristics. Divinycell F has been specifically developed for commercial aircraft interior applications. It more than exceeds the US and European regulatory requirements for commercial aircraft interiors. Other key features include 220°C (425°F) processing temperature, superior damage tolerance, exceptional fatigue life, low water absorption, good chemical resistance and excellent heat aging at 180°C (356°F). Divinycell F is compatible with most common composite manufacturing processes. In addition, Divinycell F is both hot and cold formable.

    Resin Compatibility
  • Epoxy - Excellent
  • Phenolic - Very good with modern low free phenol resins
  • Cyanate Ester - Excellent
  • BMI - Sealer required
  • Polyester - Excellent
  • Vinylester - Excellent
