LyondellBasell Adsyl 7641 XCP Polypropylene terpolymer
Categories: Polymer; Film; Thermoplastic; Polyolefin; Polyolefin, Film Grade (Polyolefin)

Material Notes: Adsyl resins are propylene plus ethylene and butene based random copolymers and terpolymers with high comonomer ratios that deliver improved sealing properties. Grades of Adsyl resins can be used in all of the main film extrusion technologies, such as BOPP, Double Bubble, Cast and Blown Film. Adsyl grades are mainly used for skin layers in co-extruded or coated film structures to provide sealing functionality.

Adsyl 7641 XCP is a polypropylene terpolymer containing slip and anti-blocking additives. Adsyl 7641 XCP is typically used for the production of BOPP and CAST film in co-extruded applications as a sealing layer. The films produced with Adsyl 7641 XCP have been reported by customers to exhibit a low seal initiation temperature (SIT) and good optics. Applications: Food Packaging Film, Lamination Film, Sealants, Shrink Film, Specialty Film.
