A. Schulman Diamond Centrex® 813 General Purpose Injection Molding Grade ASA/AES  (discontinued **)
Categories: Polymer; Thermoplastic; AES Polymer; ASA Polymer; ASA/AES, Unreinforced, Extruded/Molded

Material Notes: Centrex 813 resin is a high-gloss, high-impact grade of ASA/AES, a blend of acrylonitrile-styrene-acrylate and acrylonitrile-ethylene-propylene styrene. This injection molding grade with a good balance of physical properties and processing performance, along with good resistance to weather aging. It also features excellent low-temperature multiaxial impact strength.

Applications: Centrex 813 resin is used in lawn and garden tractor components; boat and marine accessory parts; large, outdoor TV screen displays; pool accessories, covers, and filter housings. As with any product, use of Centrex 813 resin in a given application must be tested (including but not limited to field testing) in advance by the user to determine suitability.

A. Schulman has acquired Network Polymers & Diamond Polymers.
