Material Notes: Soft, low compression set silicone foam often specified to meet safely-conscious requirements. UL recognized for flame retardance.

Applications: Low closure-force gaskets and seals, Vibration and shock isolation in electronic components and aircraft, Flame retardant, low toxicity insulation in aircraft and trains, Automotive airbag cushion seals, Industrial machinery insulation

No UV degradation per SAE J-1960. Ozone effect rating is 0 (no cracks) per ASTM D-1171. No staining per ASTM D-925(A). Passes AMS-3568 corrosion resistance. Passes SMP-800-C & BSS toxic gas emission rating. Passes hot flex at 230°C (446°F) per ASTM D-573.

General BISCO™ silicone information: BISCO™ Cellular Silicones are used as sealing cushioning, vibration isolation, insulation, and thermal management gaskets.
