Northstar Polymers MSS-A85C Ester Base Polyurethane
Categories: Polymer; Thermoset; Polyurethane, TS; Thermoset Polyurethane, Liquid

Material Notes: This high performance polyester system is one of a family of polymer systems developed by Northstar Polymers for demanding work environments. Urethane elastomers molded with this system exhibit high tear strength, high tensile elongation, excellent oil resistance, and outstanding abrasion resistance. They also meet the requirements of 21 CFR 177.1680, FDA direct dry food contact. This combination of features makes elastomers molded from MSS-A85C perfect for many applications including the handling of wood chips, grain, sand, gravel and other commodities, mining, and many custom applications. For long-term use in constant aqueous environments, consider a polyether or hybrid product system.
