Special Metals INCONEL® Alloy HX
Categories: Metal; Nonferrous Metal; Nickel Alloy; Superalloy

Material Notes: A nickel-chromium-iron-molybdenum alloy with outstanding strength and oxidation resistance at temperatures to 2200°F (1200°C). Matrix stiffening provided by the molybdenum content results in high strength in a solid-solution alloy having good fabrication characteristics. Used in gas turbines, industrial furnaces, heat-treating equipment, and nuclear engineering. Standard product forms are round, extruded section, flats, forging stock, plate, sheet, strip, and wire.

Data provided by the manufacturer, Special Metals.

Key Words: ASME SB-435, SB-572, SB-619, SB-622, SB-626, Boiler Code Sections III, VIII, IX, Nickel-Chromium Alloy; Werkstoff Nr. 2.4665, SAE AMS 5536, 5587, 5588, 5754, 5798, 7237; WL Nr. 2.4665; AFNOR NC 22 Fe D; NACE MR-01-75; AECMA Pr EN 2182 - 2185, UNS N06002; BS HR6, HR204; ASTM B 435, B 572, B 619, B 622, B 626, B 751
