Adsyl resins are propylene plus ethylene and butene based random copolymers and terpolymers with high comonomer ratios that deliver improved sealing properties. Grades of Adsyl resins can be used in all of the main film extrusion technologies, such as BOPP, Double Bubble, Cast and Blown Film. Adsyl grades are mainly used for skin layers in co-extruded or coated film structures to provide sealing functionality. Adsyl 6 C 30 F is a polypropylene terpolymer; it does not contain slip or anti-block additives. Adsyl 6 C 30 F is typically used for the production of BOPP and CAST film in co-extruded applications as a sealing layer. The films produced with Adsyl 6 C 30 F have been reported to exhibit very low seal initiation temperature (SIT) and good optic. Applications: Barrier Film, Clarity Film, Food Packaging Film, Lamination Film, Sealants, Shrink Film, Specialty Film, Stationery Film. Information provided by LyondellBasell. |
