DuPont Nucrel® 0910HS-SR Ethylene-Methacrylic Acid Copolymer Resin for Extrusion Coating  (discontinued **)
Categories: Polymer; Thermoplastic; Ethylene Methyl Acrylate; Ethylene-Methyl Acrylate Copolymer, Coating Grade

Material Notes: 8.7 wt% Methacrylic Acid.

Nucrel® 0910HS-SR is an ethylene-methacrylic acid copolymer resin available for use in conventional and coextrusion coating equipment designed to process polyethylene resins.

Features/Benefits vs. Nucrel® 0910HS: Slip additives are added to reduce the coefficient of friction of the film surface to increase operating speeds on packaging machinery. Chill roll release agents are added to enhance extrusion coating speeds by reducing tendency of the hot melt to adhere to the chill roll surface

Typical Applications: Medical/pharmaceutical packaging; Condiment and miscellaneous nonfood pouches; Snack structures; Heat seal applications using vertical form-fill-seal packaging machinery.

Information provided by DuPont Packaging Polymers.

This product line/trade name was acquired by Dow, but this specific grade was discontinued prior to the acquisition.
