Northstar Polymers MSS-A80AQ High Performance Polyurethane Cast Elastomer System 80A
Categories: Polymer; Thermoset; Polyurethane, TS; Thermoset Polyurethane, Liquid

Material Notes: This is a Ester/MDI base high-performance polyurethane casting system. This systems is recommended to applications in which the part requires high tensile strength, cut/tear resistance, dry-abrasion resistance, slow response speed, and low energy rebound/response. Ester base systems are generally less expensive than PTMEG base material. Possible applications for this material include skirting for conveyer belts, abrasion resistance liners and parts, and other specialty parts. Unlike conventional full-prepolymer systems, quasi system formulation improves processability, in-mold flow, and components mixing by use of low viscosity prepolymer. This results better physical properties of the products. Can be approved for FDA dry food contact.
