Celanese AT 472 Low Density Polyethylene (LDPE)  (discontinued **)
Categories: Polymer; Thermoplastic; Polyethylene (PE); Low Density (LDPE); Low Density Polyethylene (LDPE), Molded

Material Notes: AT 472 is a multi-purpose resin that provides superior performance in low speed, low neck in extrusion coating applications. It is also well suited for blending, injection molding, and profile extrusion applications. This polymer may be processed on conventional extrusion equipment. A melt temperature in the 290-330°C range is recommended for this resin. AT 472 resin may be safely used as articles or components of articles intended for uses in contact with food as provided in FDA regulation 21 CFR 177.1520 - Olefin polymers, and its specifications 2.2, subject to extraction limitations on the finished food-contact article as specified in that regulation.
