Dow Nucrel® 0910HS Ethylene-Methacrylic Acid Copolymer Resin for Extrusion Coating/Laminating
Categories: Polymer; Thermoplastic; Ethylene Methyl Acrylate; Ethylene-Methyl Acrylate Copolymer, Coating Grade

Material Notes: 8.7 wt% Methacrylic Acid.

Nucrel® 0910HS (High-Stability) is an ethylene-methacrylic acid copolymer resin available for use in conventional extrusion coating, coextrusion coating and extrusion laminating equipment designed to process polyethylene resins. Formerly Nucrel® RX8388-1.

Features/Benefits vs. Nucrel® 0910: Higher drawability for thinner coatings and/or higher extrusion speeds results in reduced material and/or operating costs. Higher oxidation resistance to prevent off-taste and off-odor formation for fewer taste/odor complaints. Higher thermal stability for easier extrudability and purging, improved extrusion web stability, and reduced gel formation.

Typical Applications: Foil-containing shampoo, toothpaste, towelette, condiment and miscellaneous non-food pouches and sachets; Snack structures; Toothpaste tubes ; Cable shield wrap; Aseptic and hot-fill liquid cartons; Other foil, metallized film, or paper coatings as a heat seal or tie layer.
