| EMULTROL E-185 TP is an aqueous tackifier dispersion. Its main function is to improve polymeric dispersion adhesion upon non-polar substrates and cardboards. The product is alkylpheno ethoxylate (APEO) free and solvent free. EMULTROL E-185 TP is excellent compatible with acrylic resin dispersions, PVA, EVA, SBR, NBR and polyurethane dispersion adhesives. The product has good wetting properties on silicone coated paper and other transfer papers. The tackifier dispersion EMULTROL E-185 TP is highly stabilized against the effects of oxidation and the action of ultra-violet rays. The dispersion is comprised of extremely fine particles, therefore it does not scratch application cylinders and the product is highly stable during storage. In order to achieve compatibility with other binding agent systems, the pH-value has to be correspondingly adjusted. The addition of additives with a high basic pH may cause the dispersion to become unstable. Equally, the addition of cationic substances should be avoided. Application: The resin dispersion EMULTROL E-185 TP acts as modification component in one and two component aqueous adhesives and adhesive coating systems. This emulsion is added to different chemical based, aqueous adhesive dispersions in order to achieve a permanent adhesiveness on bonding surfaces of the films. It is used as well to achieve a long open time. A typical application for this emulsion for example is the modification of aqueous primer dispersion adhesives for the coating of adhesive stripes, labels and film materials.
