Dover Chemical MAYSOL SSD50 Semi-Synthetic Coolant Concentrate Bio-Stable Semi-Synthetic Base
Categories: Other Engineering Material; Additive/Filler for Polymer

Material Notes: Maysol SSD-50 is a semi-synthetic coolant concentrate that allows the formulator to blend a high quality, general-purpose product. Applications that can be performed with Maysol SSD-50 range from light duty to medium duty on both ferrous and non-ferrous operations. Such operations may include grinding, milling, turning, and drilling. Maysol SSD-50 is recommended to be blended with water, preferably soft or deionized, at a mix of 50/50, before delivery to your customer. If these water conditions are not available at your location, it is recommended to make a small lab blend to ensure clarity and stability of the concentrate and subsequent emulsion. Maysol SSD-50 is fully fortified with biocide, corrosion inhibitors, and wetting agents. If a chlorinated version of the product is desired, Paroil 53-NR can be added up to 5% by weight to the concentrate before blending back with the water. To produce a non-chlorinated EP version, the addition of Maylube S-830, up to 15% by weight, can be added after the blend back with water. This product is to be kept from freezing.
