Material Notes: OREVAC 18510P is a maleic anhydride grafted polyethylene used in the manufacturing of three layer MDPE or HDPE coating for steel pipeline. It is a powder product. OREVAC 18510P is mainly used in pipe coating to have good adhesion performances between an epoxy primer and the HDPE 4206 black or LACQTENE 2006PBK35 from Total Petrochemicals. OREVAC 18510P combined with MD or HDPE and a proper epoxy fulfill the requirement of different application standards such as NFA 49-710 or DIN 30670 when applied in the rules of art.
