Categories: Other Engineering Material; Additive/Filler for Polymer

Material Notes: DANADD® MB-51HY-POWDER is a special additive, supplied as powder which should act as additive resp. for the improvement of the hydrolysis resistance at TPU raw materials. This high-grade Polycarbodiimid has a slightly yellow till brownish inherent color. . DANADD® MB-51HY-POWDER can be applied and added to all PEARLTHANE® TPUs based on polyether, polyester and polycaproalcton polyester in order to achieve a betterment relating to the hydrolysis resistance.

Application: DANADD® MB-51HY-POWDER is added to the PEARLTHANE® TPUs which are used for the processing by extrusion and injection moulding. We recommend to add DANADD® MB-51HYPOWDER directly to the PEARLTHANE®-TPUs. The powder should adhere well onto the pearl granules of the PEARLTHANE® TPUs.
