Danquinsa MORCHEM UD 5153 HR Polyurethane dispersion
Categories: Polymer; Thermoplastic; Polyurethane, TP; Thermoplastic Polyurethane (TPUR), Polyester Grade

Material Notes: MORCHEM UD 5153 HR is a application ready, aqueous, aliphatic structured polyester urethane dispersion. This fast crystalline polyurethane dispersion distinguishes itself by its extreme good adhesion on polyester and polyether foam as well as through its high adhesive strength on polyester fabrics. The aliphatic based PU dispersion is acting for the production of shoe adhesives as well as for the production of textile and leather finishes. MORCHEM UD 5153 has a low VOC content. MORCHEM UD 5153 HR is a thermoplastic adhesive, which can thermically reactivated at 85-90°C.

Application: MORCHEM UD 5153 HR is applied to serve as a basic raw material by the production of aqueous 1- and 2-component adhesives. Adhesives and adhesive coatings which were produced with MORCHEM UD 5153 HR are especially good suitable for:

  • Textile lamination
  • Coating of casings and profiles
  • Lamination of thermoplastic foils with wooden materials as for instance by membrane press application
  • Deep-draw and press lamination application for the automotive industry.
  • Shoe soles- and shoe shank fitting
  • Lamination of split leather and plastic foils.
We recommend, for the processing of 2- component adhesives, the application of the cross link agent DANCURE 101.
