Vinnolit® E 69 VS PVC for Paste Application
Categories: Polymer; Thermoplastic; Vinyl (PVC)

Material Notes: Vinnolit® E 69 VS PVC for paste application. Vinnolit® E 69 VS is a very fine particle paste-making emulsion homopolymer with a medium emulsifier content. Plastisols exhibiting a very high initial viscosity, a high yield point and a strong pseudoplastic flow behavior with medium plasticizer contents. Vinnolit® E 69 VS shows excellent foaming properties (white, high foams, closed cell structure) in chemically blown foams specially for artificial leather constructions. In compact applications the material is perfectly useful for printing inks and for rheology modification (e.g. in underbody coatings or textile coatings). The main applications are: high plasticizer containing compact or chemically blown coatings in high quality soft synthetic leather constructions (e.g. for upholstery), artificial leather constructions (all types), compact or chemically foamed coatings applied by direct or transfer coating onto wide mesh or open weave net type natural or synthetic fabrics, printing ink applications/formulations, rheology and adhesive component for underbody coating applications, rheology modifier for textile coatings. Noteworthy properties are: high initial viscosity with pseudoplastic rheology, excellent foaming characteristics with good expansion ratio and uniform, fine closed cell structures, very fine powder, very good whiteness, low sedimentation in thin plastisols, remarkable yield point, thick, stable and elastic foam layers easily producible, good adhesion on KTL-surfaces, good miscibility with other PVC´s.
