Mallard Creek Polymers Rovene® 6201 Styrene-Acrylic Resin

Material Notes: Rovene® 6201 is an alkali soluble styrene-acrylic resin with a mid-range molecular weight supplied in a clear pellet form. Rovene® 6201 is a general use resin for overprint varnishes, water based inks and pigment dispersions. Rovene® 6201 provides excellent ink transfer and printability with high gloss.

Solution Preparation and Properties: The following are offered as starting point formulations. The resin should be cut under agitation and although Rovene® 6201 will dissolve at room temperature, the dissolution process can be greatly accelerated by the use of heat, up to 70°C.

Storage and Handling: Protect from freezing. Ideal storage temperature is 22°C (72°F). Read the Rovene® 6201 Material Safety Data Sheet before handling, storing, or using this product.
