Material Notes:	Fields of application: Foils, films, fibers, extruded and injection molded articles made from PP compatible resins, like PP, PP/EDPM, PP/PE/EDPM blends (TPOs). Examples: Tapes, ropes, carpets, non-wovens, films, fibers, garden furniture, automotive bumpers. Mode of action and advantages: ADD-VANCE UV 51 provides excellent UV stability to thick PP products and articles with a high surface area like films, fibers and tapes. The HALS stabilizer present in ADD-VANCE UV 51 inhibits the light induced degradation of the substrate. The HALS stabilizer acts as radical scavenger, hydroperoxide decomposer or as quencher. Advantages: Highly effective light stabilization system for PP products; Very narrow additive content specification for reliable and constant anti-UV performance; To be used in thick (injection molding) and thin-walled articles (tapes, films) and fibers; Long lasting anti-UV protection; High resistance to extraction and low volatility; and Safe handling, dust free Former ADDCOMP product line, acquired by BYK.
