Material Notes: Description: XMTR50 (EF7313) is a two part epoxy resin system developed specifically for the high rate manufacture of components using a High Pressure Resin Transfer Molding (HP-RTM) process. With HP-RTM molding equipment, XMTR50 (EF7313) can be used to manufacture components with a total cycle time of five minutes or less.

Features & Benefits:

  • Two part system
  • Low viscosity allowing for sub 30 sec injection times
  • Cure indicated by change of color (colorless to deep red)
  • Typically injected at 110 to 120°C (230 to 248°F), 40 to 80 bar (580.2 to 1160.3 psi) injection pressures
  • DMA E’ onset Tg 140°C after 3 minute cure at 120 and 130°C (248 and 266°F)
