Material Notes:	2928 Purge PEC is a compound designed to facilitate color changes and other formulation changes by purging out the flow channels with less material. It is particularly beneficial in extrusion operations that do not run 24 hours a day 7 days per week. By cooling the extruder down and running 2928 through to the die so that all channels are full when the extruder is shut down for a day or two, start up is facilitated by the purge compound. Description/Features: Purging Compound Market: Film Processing Method: Blown Film Cast Film Note: The additive package contained in 2928 Purge PEC is designed to help gently removing deposits that have built up during operation as well as preventing further degradation. This combination of ingredients is formulated to polish the metal surface free of color and charred material without being excessively abrasive. Acceptable for FDA applications depending on end use.
