| PREADD AS 534 is an antistatic masterbatch with a polypropylene carrier developed for cast-PP and BOPP films. PREADD AS 534 is based on a combination of fast and slow migrating additives. Like all migrating antistatic additives PREADD AS 534 may affect the printing, heat sealing and bonding properties of the film. The addition level of PREADD AS 534 should be tested in advance for the desired antistatic effect with the polymer used. PREADD AS 534 is approved for use in contact with foodstuffs according to FDA regulations as long as the dosage level of PREADD AS 534 is less than 1.6 % and according to BgVV regulations as long as the dosage level is less than 2.5 %.
