Material Notes:	Fields of application: Foamed products of polyolefins and other polymers. Extruded sheets and foams in general as well as injection moulded parts that require a foamed core. Mode of action and advantages: ADD-VANCE® BA 131 contains a proprietary combination of endothermic blowing agent additives. ADD-VANCE® BA 131 contains a very high level of active components and NO polymer carrier. Advantages: Universal blowing agent for polyolefins and other polymers (e.g. polyamide); Excellent foam development and fine cell structure; Cost savings due to reduced polymer use; Weight reduction of the final part; Cost efficient: the product is very effective at low dosing rates: 0.5 – 1.0 wt%; Foam densities of 0.5 – 0.6 g / dm3 have been achieved in polyolefins during in house laboratory evaluations; and Easy to use. Regulations: ADD-VANCE® BA 131 is suitable for food packaging products as the active ingredients are in compliance with current food contact regulations Former ADDCOMP product line, acquired by BYK.
