Lubrizol Stat-Rite® X-5065 Static Control IDP-TPU Elastomeric Polymer Alloy
Categories: Polymer; Thermoplastic; Elastomer, TPE; Polyurethane TPE; Polyurethane, TP

Material Notes: Elastomeric Stat-Rite® Polymer alloy X-5065 blend is a patented inherently dissipative polymer (IDP) with thermoplastic polyurethanes (TPU). This produces soft, flexible polymer alloys with an inherent static dissipative polymer network. This inherent static dissipative network remains intact through injection molding or extruding while maintaining the physical properties of TPU. Stat-Rite® TPU alloys are formulated for permanent and consistent ESD protection without comprising cleanliness.

Features:

  • Permanently static dissipative
  • Does not require humidity
  • Ultra-Clean: low off-gassing, low ionics, low particulates
  • See-through clarity
  • No particulates

Applications:

  • Cleanroom soft walls, windows and doors
  • Electronic component handling
  • Vacuum Tubing
  • Work surface mats

Properties of all Stat-Rite® polymer products in the molten state are adversely affected by moisture. Although Stat-Rite® compounds are dry when packaged, trace amounts of moisture can be absorbed during storage and handling. For best results, always dry the material two to three hours at 105°C (220°F) in a dehumidifying hopper dryer.
