ChevronTexaco 120 Aircraft Engine Oils Premium AD
Categories: Fluid; Lubricant

Material Notes: Texaco Aircraft Engine Oils Premium AD deliver value through:
  • Clean engines due to the dispersancy action. Minimal deposits in the combustion chamber, spark plugs, rings, valves, etc.
  • Low wear — Maximum parts life by resisting corrosion and deposits from oil oxidation
  • Rigid quality control throughout the production process
  • Early starting at low temperatures and stable viscosity grade over a wide temperature range.

Texaco Aircraft Engine Oils Premium AD are premium quality ashless dispersant oils for four-stroke aircraft piston engines.

Texaco Aircraft Engine Oils Premium AD are blended with high quality, high viscosity index base oils, ashless dispersant additives, and antioxidant, and antifoam agents.

The ashless dispersant additives retard the formation of sludge and varnish without forming harmful ash deposits in the combustion chamber. The antioxidants resist oxidation, which causes oil thickening and corrosion. The antifoam agent is used to prevent oil foam formation, which can cause unstable oil pressure and loss of film strength.

Texaco Aircraft Engine Oils Premium AD are recommended for use in all makes of piston aircraft engines in single and multi-engine light planes and transport type aircraft.

Texaco Aircraft Engine Oils Premium AD meet all specification requirements of:

  • Textron Lycoming Specification 301F
  • Teledyne Continental Motors Specification MHS-24
  • Pratt & Whitney Service Bulletin #1183T

Texaco Aircraft Engine Oils Premium AD meet the requirement of SAE J1899, which has replaced MIL-L-22851D as the standard of nondispersant oils.

Typical test data are average values only. Minor variations which do not affect product performance are to be expected in normal manufacturing.
