Versalis Eraclene® FA 706 Hexene Copolymer High Density Polyethylene - Blown Film Extrusion  (discontinued **)
Categories: Polymer; Film; Thermoplastic; Polyethylene (PE); High Density (HDPE); High Density Polyethylene (HDPE), Film Grade

Material Notes: Eraclene FA 706 is a high density polyethylene resin (HDPE), hexene copolymer, with antioxidants, suitable for blown film extrusion.

Films manufactured with Eraclene FA 706 show good processability together with high temperature resistance and good tensile properties at low strain (Young modulus, yield strength).

Main Applications: Eraclene FA 706 is especially recommended for the production of "paper-like" films having high stiffness together with high thermal resistance. Due to its excellent compromise between drawability and bubble stability, Eraclene FA 706 is the ideal choice for manufacturing of high strength thin films (shopping bags, bags on the reel, lamination films).

Information provided by Polimeri Europa.

Versalis is the Eni subsidiary containing the plastics and rubber businesses.
