Latitude Manufacturing PowderFlo® 17-4PH Stainless Steel Metal Injection Molding Compound  (discontinued **)
Categories: Metal; Ferrous Metal; Stainless Steel; Precipitation Hardening Stainless

Material Notes: Aqueous Agar Binder, Improved Gel Strength. Sintered properties are dependent on sintering conditions and specific parts. Sintered density > 98.5% is typical.

Metal injection molding (MIM) allows metal parts to be produced using standard injection molding machinery. This manufacturing process allows intricate metal parts to be produced that either can not be produced or are cost prohibitive to produce using other metal fabrication processes.

PowderFlo® MIM Compounds feature a patented aqueous agar-based binder system that is quickly and easily debound through simple air drying, offering an environmentally friendly production process. PowderFlo® MIM Compounds unique binder system also decreases limitations on part size and wall thickness that constrain the use of other MIM materials.

PowderFlo® is a registered trademark of Latitude Manufacturing Technologies. Information provided by Latitude Manufacturing Technologies.
