Ensinger PEI
Borealis Borstar® FB2310 LLDPE for Film
Categories: Polymer; Film; Thermoplastic; Polyethylene (PE); Linear Low Density (LLDPE); Linear Low Density Polyethylene (LLDPE), Film Grade

Material Notes: Borstar BF2310 is a high molecular weight low density polyethylene film grade combining good and flexible extrusion behavior, excellent draw down and superior mechanical properties. Film made from Borstar FB2310 exhibits high dart impact combined with excellent yield and tensile strength and increased stiffness. Its toughness remains also in cold conditions. The film has high seal strength and hot tack force. Borstar FB2310 contains antioxidant.

Borstar BF2310 is well suited for a wide range of applications due to its unique balance of properties. The superior mechanical properties will improve the functionality of the films or allow for substantial material saving (down gauging) compared to conventional PEs. Some examples are: industrial liners, heavy duty sacks and deep freeze packaging.
