Ensinger PEI
DuBois Aluminum Casting Salt AC Aluminum Casting Salt
Categories: Ceramic; Fluid; Quenchant

Material Notes: Salt cores can be made with varying melting points to meet the needs of customers who gravity cast as well as those using state-of-the-art die casting machines. Advantages of salt cores over sand cores include excellent surface smoothness and detail, increased strength at high temperatures, absence of abrasive residues or toxic binders, and rapid and complete core removal. Expendable salt cores from Park are also rapidly and easily prepared and offer greater manufacturing reproducibility.
