Material Notes:	Product description: TEGOPREN® 7008 is an alkyl and polyether modified siloxane. It is a non-ionic product with 100 % active content. Application: TEGOPREN® 7008 is recommended as softening agent with excellent compatibility with all kind of chemicals usually used in textile applications. It is suitable for the treatment of fibers or fabrics and provides very good sewability and lubricity. In metal working applications TEGOPREN® 7008 is especially used as a W/O emulsifier and co-emulsifier for paraffinic oil-based fluids. Furthermore it can be used as dispersing additive in neat oils. Benefits: Due to its dual functionality (alkyl and polyether chains linked to the silicone backbone), it imparts both softness and hydrophilicity to the treated substrates (when applied by padding). TEGOPREN® 7008 is free of silicone oils, that means: no adverse effect on the finishing process (painting/electroplating, etc.) of the treated parts, better dispersion stability, lower sedimentation.
