PCP-Canada Max 5® 5083 Cast Aluminum Mold Block
Categories: Metal; Nonferrous Metal; Aluminum Alloy; Aluminum Casting Alloy

Material Notes: Max 5® is characterized by an excellent dimensional stability. It is a 5083 alloy which provides strength, good hard anodizing response, weldability, and machinability (with sintered carbide materials). Easy to recycle with high residual value at the end of its useful life. Internal low level of MAX5® porosity is guaranteed by the supplier casting technology. Quality control is made by ultrasonic inspection. The low density of the 5000 series is an advantage over other aluminum mold products.
