Chesterton ARC S1HB Sprayable high-viscosity, 100% solids, advanced coating  (discontinued **)
Categories: Polymer; Thermoset; Epoxy

Material Notes: An advanced composite formulated to protect concrete and metal surfaces from corrosion and chemical attack. It is normally applied at a thickness of 1-2 mm (40-80 mils) per coat. However, greater single coat film thickness is achievable when spray applied. Non-shrinking, 100% solids. ARC S1HB is a high viscosity, high performance composite lining that is designed to be a spray applied but may also be applied by brush. ARC S1HB allows for uniform coverage over rough surfaces and yields excellent immersion exposures. The cured ARC S1HB provides a barrier film with adhesion and resistance to corrosion.

Benefits:

  • High build capability for coverage over irregular surfaces.
  • Outlasts conventional paints and coatings
  • Long pot life allow for ease of use
  • 100% solids, no shrinkage on cure
  • Outstanding adhesion insures reliable performance
  • Able to be high voltage spark tested for pinhole free films.

Suggested Uses:

  • Bar Screen Chambers
  • Junction/Splitter Boxes
  • collection system Piping
  • Digesters
  • Sewer Piping
  • Waste water Clarifiers
  • Manholes
  • Thickener Tanks
  • ”Other” Concrete and Metal Structures
