Material Notes: GLYPTAL CE-237 GLOSS BLACK is an air-drying or baking enamel. This material has very good oil, chemical, and corrosion resistance. It offers a tough durable film along with excellent arc resistance.

SUGGESTED USES

GLYPTAL CE-237 is designed for the finishing of motor end windings. This material is an offset to 7815 and has improved arc resistance.

APPLICATION

GLYPTAL CE-237 may be applied by spray or dip methods. This material must be kept well agitated during use. Surfaces to be painted should be clean and dry.

Reduction:

Spray: Thin to 25-30 seconds (#2 Zahn Cup) with 1500 Thinner.

Dip: Thin to 23-28 seconds (#2 Zahn Cup) with Solvesso 100.

SURFACE PREPARATION

Surfaces to be painted should be dry and free from dirt, wax, grease, rust, and oil. Remove grease and oil by washing surface with mineral spirits.
