Material Notes:	Product description: TEGO® Antifoam 2291 is a self-emulsifying APEO-free organic antifoam concentrate. The product is absolute free of silicone and does not contain any silica. Application: TEGO® Antifoam 2291 destroys foam or prevents foam formation reliably in aqueous media and may be used for foam control in a variety of industrial applications, even there where the use of silicone and silica is not accepted: process aid for water-based polymerization of dispersions, thermoplastics and elastomers (e. g. demonomerization of SBR or NBR emulsions, handling of acrylates) in formulation and application of polymer dispersions/latices (e. g. adhesives based on acrylates or PVAc, paper coatings or others) in a multitude of other industrial applications Properties / Benefits: Due to the special selection of active ingredients TEGO® Antifoam 2291 outperforms conventional organic antifoams.
