Material Notes: SUMILITERESIN® PR-16 I is a powder phenolic resin with good friction properties, good processability, and other merits in friction production.
SUMILITERESIN® PR-16 I has low free phenol, the hexamine content is about 9%, and it has a medium molecular weight. By these properties, it will improve the stability friction coefficient, hardness, and wear rate. It is generally applied for brake lining, disc pad and clutch facing.
