Chemours Teflon® TE 5373A-N PTFE granular molding resin  (discontinued **)
Categories: Polymer; Thermoplastic; Fluoropolymer; Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE); Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE), Molded

Material Notes: Uses: High-quality skived tape, billets, sheets and other basic shapes by compression and isostatic moulding. It can be used for such applications as bellows, diaphragms for valves and pumps, valve seats, bearing pads, linings, gaskets.

Teflon® TE 5373A-N is one of DuPont’s PTFE granular resins for compression molding. It offers the excellent combination of properties characteristic of Teflon® fluoropolymer resins: non-ageing characteristics, chemical inertness, excellent dielectric properties, heat resistance, toughness and flexibility, low coefficient of friction, non-stick characteristics, negligible moisture absorption and excellent weather resistance.

Teflon® TE 5373A-N is a high-property resin of high apparent density. It possesses handleability superior to other high-property resins and should be used where very good mechanical properties are required. Due to its high fill density, this resin is especially suitable for making high quality skived tape with maximum width.

Chemours was formed from former DuPont performance chemicals businesses, including DuPont Fluoroproducts, in 2015.
