Ensinger PEI
ChevronTexaco ISO 320 Machine Oil AW
Categories: Fluid; Lubricant

Material Notes: Features

Chevron Machine Oils AW are premium quality lubricants.

They provide excellent antiwear protection, oxidation and corrosion inhibition, and foam and aeration suppression.

They are excellent multipurpose oils for all types of lubricant applications where a premium antiwear lubricant in their ISO viscosity grade is required, such as an AGMA Gear Lubricant or general machinery lubrication.

All grades have excellent demulsibility. Chevron Machine Oils AW have excellent thermal and oxidation stability.

They have a high viscosity index to assure good film strength between metal surfaces under moderate loads and temperatures. This film strength is further enhanced by the antiwear additive protection. The foam and aeration suppressant allows the quick release of entrained air, also improving film strength.

Applications

Chevron Machine Oils AW are recommended for hydraulic equipment reduction gears, reciprocating air compressors, plain and antifriction bearings, and circulating oil systems where an ISO 100, 150, 220, or 320 grade is required.

Chevron Machine Oils AW meet the requirements of ANSI/AGMA 9005-D94, Industrial Gear Lubrication, for gear lubrication as rust and oxidation inhibited gear oils.

Chevron Machine Oils AW are registered with NSF International and are acceptable as lubricants where there is no possibility of food contact (H2) in and around food processing areas. The NSF Nonfood Compounds Registration Program is a continuation of the USDA product approval and listing program, which is based on meeting regulatory requirements of appropriate use, ingredient review and labeling verification.

Do not use in high pressure systems in the vicinity of flames, sparks and hot surfaces. Use only in well ventilated areas. Keep container closed.
