Material Notes:	PREADD AB 172 is a PE-LD based antiblock masterbatch developed for polyethylene films over 35µm in thickness. The addition of PREADD AB 172 gives following advantages to films: Increased heat conductivity accelerates the cooling of the film. This can lead to capacity increases especially in cases where the natural cooling is insufficient. Antiblocking effect is achieved already at low addition levels. Color change in the extruder takes place faster because of the purging effect. Printability is improved. Heat sealing time and temperature can be lowered. Shrinking time of shrink films can be shortened especially when shrinking is done by infrared radiation. This is a valued advantage e.g. in packaging deep frozen products. PREADD AB 172 is approved for use in contact with foodstuffs according to FDA and BgVV regulations without limitations. Information provided by Premix Thermoplastics Inc.
